Liability
● Proof of insurance showing amount of liability coverage of $2 million an adding the
Chatham Kinsmen Club as additional name insured and showing the date and time of the
event and address of the hall on the form. A copy must be provided to the Hall Coordinator
minimum of two weeks in advance.
● The Renter or organization using the facility assumes the full responsibility for the
conduct of its own members and their invitees admitted to this facility. No person shall be
allowed in any part of the building. The Renter agrees to take all reasonable steps to ensure
that the event is carried on in a safe and peaceful manner and to ensure the safety of any
persons attending the event
● The Renter or organization using the facility shall indemnify and save harmless the
Kinsmen Club of Chatham and any affiliated individuals, groups or organizations acting on
behalf of the Kinsmen, against all claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, suits, or
proceedings arising out of the use of the hall and surrounding grounds, including
deductible on liability policy for any and all claims against it.
● The Kinsmen Club of Chatham and any affiliated individuals, groups or organizations
acting on behalf of the Kinsmen will not be held responsible if, due to circumstances
beyond our control, the Hall is not available for use. Rent and security deposit will be
returned to the renter.
